Review by hotel critic
During my recent getaway at Minavra, I was pleasantly surprised by the culinary offerings that managed to blend tradition with modern flair. Starting each morning with breakfast on the balcony, I enjoyed a handpicked selection of quality Greek products, from local cheeses to fresh fruits, offering a taste of Greece right at the start of my day. One evening, I dined at the hotel’s restaurant, where I found a fascinating mix of delectable and healthy dishes. The atmosphere struck a balance between casual and classy—ideal for savoring meals while soaking in the ambiance of the contemporary structure. As someone passionate about both conservation and culture, I appreciated the menu's emphasis on local delicacies. It was nice to find a postcard-worthy spot to unwind with a beverage afterward, either at the indoor café or one of the two outdoor settings. The staff's attentiveness reflected a genuine effort to provide a homely feel, enhancing the experience. Lastly, I couldn’t resist picking up some local delicacies from their souvenir shop, perfect for sharing with friends and ensuring that the flavors of Greece linger long after my return to Nairobi.
